makin' stuff

Hey everybody!!  I can't believe it's half way through February already!  Astrid has grown so much.  She rolled over for the first time a few days ago and she's getting really good at holding her head up.  We keep getting more and more snow...I can't even get the car out of the driveway right now!  That's our silver car with the front buried...

I've been making stuff non-stop for the last few weeks.  It started with this scarf that Anna wanted for Christmas.

Then I made these matching fingerless gloves with the leftover yarn...

Then I got totally carried away making baby hats (and I still have tons of ideas I'll be working on soon).  I made so many I decided to open an etsy shop (https://www.etsy.com/shop/PlanetAstrid) since Astrid can't wear that many hats. :)  I'm working on ideas for more inventory, coming soon!!

I also made this one out of an old pair of obnoxiously yellow corduroys, but it turned out too big for Astrid.  I plan on making more for my store when I can get out to the fabric store...

I just finished these cozy wool shorts that I love!  I plan on making more of these out of cotton for the summer.  And look at those chubby rolls...

I'm experimenting with bibs and blankets, and here are a few I've made so far...

I think this is my favorite thing...a sweater made from mercerized cotton.  I love the colors and it is so soft!
